As long as the number for your alignment is evenly divided by 4 then you are good to go.

I have seen no difference in performance with 1024, 4096, or many other numbers.

You can use the AS SSD benchmarking utility to quickly check alignment. Just open the software, select the SSD drive and check the number in the corner. If it shows up in green then alignment is good. If red, then alignment is off.

k my AData SSD is 1024 but my plextor is showing up as 103424 OK in green big number. lol
